Lately, I’ve been drooling over new harps. I’m definitely in the market to buy a newer, bigger, lever harp with a brighter tone, and tighter string tension. Unfortunatly, it’ll be a while before I can take the plunge… 🙁 However, I might be able to go for it sooner with a used harp. I thought I’d share with you some links where used harps are listed. Maybe you can take the plunge sooner than I!
By the way – Warning: don’t jump into buying a used harp without a little knowledge and experience under your belt. There are plenty of things that can go wrong with a harp, and they may not be re-sold in very good condition. Basic rule of thumb here—never buy a harp without playing it first. I would suggest doing a google search on what to watch out for.
Do you know of any harp classifieds? Leave a comment with a link, and I’ll republish it to this list. If I find any more on top of these, I’ll add them as well. By the way, some of these links might break readily with the unpredictability of websites–let me know if they do, and I’ll remove them.
